About this space
Situated off Karrinyup road, our venue in Stirling boasts a central location and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Just fifteen minutes from Perth City, close to transport links, the freeway and a private carpark, the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre has everything you need to ensure your educational seminar or corporate function is a success. Our space can accommodate a variety of functions from small intimate gatherings to corporate functions, as well as daytime seminars and courses.
The Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre can accommodate 70 people comfortably in our upstairs function room which features a balcony area, private toilets and a kitchen. The room can be used for standing or seated functions, as well as smaller meetings or training sessions.
Please note the projector is set up for your convenience, at the table end of the room. Please let us know how you would like the room set up at the time of booking.

Rules
You may cancel your booking for a full refund up until 3 working days, after which time a $50 administration fee will be taken.
Smoking is not permitted at the venue, inside or outside.
If kitchen facilities are to be used, all appliances must be left in a clean and tidy condition. No food or drink are to be left in the venue or accompanying amenities. All rubbish must be removed from the venue and placed in the appropriate bins.
The venue can be decorated to complement your function, however nothing is to be affixed to the paintwork and no glitter is to be used.
Functions held at our venue are “BYO”. If you intend to sell liquor you will need to make the appropriate application with Racing Gaming and Liquor; a copy of the licence will need to be given to the Office and Events Coordinator before the function begins. You are permitted to bring in beer, wine and soft drinks. Drinks at the function must be served by a person who has the Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. Please note: It is the responsibility of the venue hirer to ensure that alcohol is served responsibly, that water is made available and that no underage drinking is tolerated.
Additional details
Parking is allocated directly outside the venue with 20 parking bays. Overflow parking is available close by at Osborne Park Hospital as well as verge parking on Limosa Close.
Stirling station is close by with a number of bus routes in the area.
