SpacetoCo Host since February 2024The Food Connect Shed is a community-owned, sustainable food hub and event space for people and plans with impact. We provide flexible commercial kitchen space to hire - perfect for you to make your own produce for sale, or for running workshop/courses. We also have an event space for parties, private functions, conferences or that special event.

If you’re looking for an affordable, sustainable wedding venue or party space that aligns with your values, you’ve found your perfect match in us. Our expansive industrial-chic warehouse space is the perfect flexible space for bringing a uniquely ‘you’ event to life, with room for a DJ or band, dance floor and up to 150 seated or 280 cocktail guests. And perks of being in an industrial area? It’s cool if things get a little loud. Contact us today for a tour and discussion about creating an that creates a lasting imprint in hearts and memories, but not on the environment.
WEDDING PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Hire of event space (317sqm warehouse with high ceiling)
We clean space after event & remove all rubbish
1 Duty Manager (extra staff available for hire)
Portable PA system (suggested for 50-100 people)
Wooden trestle tables & chairs
Plant stands and decor, including rustic hanging ladders
Cutlery and crockery, platters and bowls
Bar facilities and glassware
Bar staff can be booked separately, and will include penalty rates after hours and on weekends.

Rules
No smoking or vaping
No naked flames
No drinking outside of the venue.
No bottles or rubbish outside the venue - please use the bins (recycling wherever possible) provided
If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called.
No smoke machine
No Sellotape, push-pins, tacks or nails to be used on the walls
You can use Blutack on the walls
Please remove any strings or Blutack might have used to fix the decorations before the end
Additional details
There is plenty of free on-street parking around the venue.
For public transport options, buses 121 and 124 from the city stop just around the corner, and the Rocklea and Salisbury train stations are a short Uber or bike / scooter ride away.
