About this space

The Durack Community Arts Centre, located at 33 Packard Avenue in Durack, Northern Territory, is Palmerston's first purpose-built arts and culture facility. This inclusive, multi-purpose space is designed to support local artists and creative enterprises by providing a dedicated venue for art activities and cultural events .​

The Centre offers a range of programs and events, including the weekly "Art Jam" sessions, which provide a shared space for creatives aged 15 and over to collaborate, work independently, or seek inspiration from local artists .

Additionally, the Centre is available for community hire, offering a space for gatherings, classes, and cultural activities. It features art rooms with high ceilings, natural lighting, and facilities designed for art and craft activities
