About this space
Woodbine Family and Community Centre offers a medium-sized community room for hire. A bright, flexible space perfect for health and wellbeing programs, meetings, family and children’s activities, education sessions, and celebrations.
The room measures 9.17 metres long by 8.7 metres wide, with a ceiling height of 2.6 metres. It can accommodate up to 60 people standing or 40 people seated around tables, offering a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of natural light. The flooring is all vinyl, making it perfect for dance groups, wellness programs and art classes.
It connects to a fully equipped kitchen at no extra charge, including crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs, and children’s plates, bowls and cups. Features include adult and child-sized tables and chairs, and a secure outdoor yard with a sandpit.
A function surcharge is applied to support the additional operational requirements associated with one-off or casual hire of our community facilities. This includes the extra administration and resources needed to ensure the venue remains well-presented, welcoming, and ready for use by all patrons. This surcharge helps us maintain a high standard of service and facility presentation.
The room is practical, comfortable, and suitable for a wide range of programs and events.

All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.
Alcohol
- No alcohol permitted.
Insurance
- Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.
