About this space
Situated in the heart of Modbury, our Community Learning Centre is the perfect location for meetings, training and workshops. Overlooking stunning Civic Park, this can be booked as a large room or a half-sized room.
Large meeting room (Whole Centre)
Room size is 85m2
Trestles: 6, Card table: 3, Chairs: 50
Up to 60 people seated theatre style or 40 people classroom style
Half-size room (LG1 & LG2 Rooms)
Room size is 44m2
Up to 30 people seated theatre style or 15 people classroom style
Meeting room facilities
Each room has WiFi and PC access, a data projector, large rectangular tables, chairs, and a whiteboard.
All hirers can access the kitchenette, which includes:
Hot water for tea and coffee
Microwave
Bar refrigerator
Limited cutlery and crockery
Please bring your own coffee, tea and milk. There is a café (9am - 3pm Mon to Fri), located next to the meeting rooms and for information or to enquire about catering options call 8397 7383.

Rules
Council does not allow decorations, photos or posters to be taped, glued, blue-tacked or nailed to the walls or ceilings in any facility. All equipment must be removed from the venue by the completion of the booked hire time.
You must not exceed the capacity limit set for the space.
Additional cleaning, damage costs and after-hours call-out fees (where you are at fault) will be deducted from the bond.
Please ensure you have read the full “conditions of hire – facilities” document to understand your requirements as a hirer.
You’re responsible for setting up and packing up the venue – make sure your booking time includes both. When you're done, all furniture and equipment need to go back where you found it.
Keep the place clean and tidy and leave it as you found it. Wipe down all surfaces – tables, benches, everything. Some cleaning materials will be provided.
Dispose of any rubbish in the on-site bins and take any extra rubbish with you.
Smoking is not allowed indoors or within 10 metres of the entrance.
No pets or animals allowed unless a prior arrangement has been made.
All electrical equipment brought on site will need to be tested and tagged.
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times.
Smoke machines are not allowed in the venue.
