About this space
Mt Albert Library is a hub for our local community. We want our space to feel like your space and there are a whole range of things you, your whanau and your community can do here.
The center of Mount Albert Library is a free-form gathering area, that is great for small, quiet talks and information sessions.
You could use this space to:
-raise awareness of an issue through storytelling or a presentation
-talk with library patrons about your community group or project.
-a special interest group or meet up
What the space includes
There is some informal seating e.g. chairs and benches in this space.
You can use a freestanding screen to present
This is an open space and your event will be happening in normal library opening hours.

Rules
Keep noise to a normal conversation level
Be respectful - there is no obligation for library users to be part of your gathering
This should be a free community event - no selling tickets. Koha donation is fine.
The library is an apolitical and secular space - no religious or political campaigning allowed in the space.
Bookings need to me made at least 48 hours ahead to ensure that our staff have time to consider your event.
