Charleston is a small town in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. It is situated on the Onkaparinga Valley Road between Woodside and Mount Torrens, on the main route from the Adelaide Hills to the Barossa Valley. It is located approximately 27kms from the capital Adelaide. It is a small township and easy to access, onsite parking. The Centre has a beautiful park, 2 electric BBQs, PlaySpace, 3 tennis courts, Hall: 80pax seated, A/V, WIFI, meeting room, (marquee space in carpark).

About this space

The park and village green open space is ideally located in the Adelaide Hills for markets and events. Central to the Hills, and hour from Adelaide CBD or the Barossa Valley, and a short drive from the southern hills areas. The park has two electric BBQs, playground and many shade trees, power and water access. The Tennis Kiosk (plus lighting) is included in the hire as an administration area or seperate fundraising area. The Village Green has a large open space for marquees, gazebos, stalls, seating with umbrellas, where your stall holders can set up easily. Free on site parking and toilets are also available. If you wish to hire the tennis courts or the adjoining hall, please contact us for further hire and assistance.

Rules

Sale of alcohol will require the appropriate Liquor Licenses and RSA personnel. The Hirer will be provided with an Event Hire Agreement prior to the event which must be completed 7 days prior to the Hire. The Charleston Community Centre can refuse any hire it deems inappropriate or exceeds capacity for the Park. If your event or market requires security or traffic management you must discuss this with the appropriate government services, e.g Adelaide Hills Council. The Centre will not be responsible for traffic management, signage or pedestrian access to your event.
