Perfect for football, cricket, personal training and group fitness, Dick Lawrence Active Reserve is a beautiful reserve with something for the whole family.
You’ll discover a variety of communal outdoor amenities, such as a flying disk golf, a children’s playground and accessible toilets. It's regularly used by various football and cricket clubs, and personal trainers.
Public toilets are available on-site.
If you require access the the change rooms and club rooms you will need to book the Brad Hardie Clubroom separately.
If you require floodlights, please make sure to select. Access instructions will be provided once your booking is approved. Floodlight usage is charged by the hour from 6pm onwards between May to Oct and from 7pm onwards for the remainer of the year.
Educational organisations and non-for-profit groups are eligible for a discounted rate of $2 per hour for the purpose of recreational. To apply the discount, please us the code “ACTIVE RESERVE”. For senior sporting clubs booking on weekends or after 6pm on weekdays, an additional fee of $3 per hour will be added to the discounted rate.
Commerical rate (including PT and fitness groups): $15.00 per hour
Commercial rate after 6pm: $30 per hour
Educational Organisations: $2.00 per hour
Non-for-profit sporting groups: $2.00 per hour
Senior non-for-profit sporting clubs booking on weekends or after 6pm: $5 per hour
Non-recreational community rate: $19.20 per hour
Non-recreational commercial rate: $34.50 per hour

The City does not guarantee exclusive use of parks or reserves, nor permit any area to be cordoned off. In some cases, multiple sporting groups may share a ground simultaneously.

Rules
Public Liability Insurance is required to be provided to the City before the booking is approved for sporting bodies, clubs, associations, schools, corporations or incorporated bodies and/commercial entities.
Reserves cannot be booked for private events such as birthday celebrations, weddings, wakes etc.
Littering is strictly prohibited. No waste is to be left near or on bins.
Floodlights must be turned off at the end of your hire - If left on please note you will be charged.
Change-room/toilets facilities must be locked back up at the end of your hire. Keys must be returned with 2 working days of the booking or at the end of the season to avoid additional fees.
Vehicles are not to be driven on reserves under any circumstances without prior approval.
No signage, bouncy castles, large marquees/structures, temporary goal posts are to be erected without written consent from the City. Staking is not permitted.
No amplified music to be played.
The City does not take bookings for private gatherings including picnics, parties, or weddings.
No fires permitted.
Line marking is carried out by the City of Fremantle at the start of the season only. There after it is the responsibility of the hirer to maintain. Any changes made to markings must be approved by the City of Fremantle.
Our reserves are public spaces. Every endeavour should be made by the hirer to offer any unused space to the general public to use.
