This includes beach/river access matting, beach wheelchairs, beach walkers, portable hoists, accessible parking and toilets. Location: Apollo Bay Surf Life Saving Club
The Mobi-Beach beach wheelchair is available for hire from December School Holidays to mid-April. The wheelchair can be hired for up 2 hours per booking to ensure greater access to all potential hirers.

While our team is committed to supporting every request, occasionally we may need to work with you to find alternative times or arrangements that best suit your needs
The equipment is available for self-service as they are housed in a locked enclosure. Padlock code is provided via email booking confirmation.
The Hirer must have one (1) support person on the day to operate the Mobi-Chair Beach Wheelchair and/or hoist.
Please note the hoist is only available for use in an open environment. The hoist can be available on request when booked 2 days in advance. You will be required to provide your own sling.
The maximum weight limit of the chair is 130kg.
The Mobi-Chair is not intended for areas with current or strong waves.
Please be aware that the beach wheelchair doesn't fit into disabled toilets due to extra wide wheels.
How to hire:
Complete the booking application online.
Check your email for confirmation & access code.
Have at least one carer to assist.
Have fun at the beach!
