About this space
This meeting room features a Queen St facing window for natural light, block out blinds, shade blinds, carpeted flooring, split system heating/cooling, seating up to 10-12 people around desks and a fixed whiteboard. Uses include in-person and hybrid meetings, writing workshops, training, green room, board meetings and study groups.
Additional hire of 70” smart television is available.
Louis Joel Arts & Community provides venue hire for a range of diverse activities that includes art classes for children and adults. Organisations who hire the Centre's spaces include Hobsons Bay Chess Club, Hobsons Bay Arts Society, the CWA, U3A, Dramawerkz, community groups and art and craft groups as well as private and business functions. The Louis Joel Gallery hosts art exhibitions most of the year which is open Tuesday - Saturday, during Centre opening hours, or at other times by arrangement.
A kitchen to support light catering including tea/coffee making facilities is also available. All consumables must be provided by the hirer. The centre has a security alarm and is air conditioned.

Please note that when booking the meeting room, you are booking this as a standalone room and may have other bookings throughout the rest of the venue. You will have shared access to bathrooms and kitchenette. Ensure you are not utilising other spaces such as The Deck, Bay View or Garden Rooms unless booked.
