Albert Park Scout Hall - Scout Sleep Overs
About this space
A new community hall for Albert Park. This historic scout hall has been refurbished to bring scouting back to Albert Park. When scouts aren't using this hall it is available for community use. All the income from this hall goes back to maintaining the hall and supporting scouting activities for our local youth and related community initiatives.
On Friday and Saturday nights we are pleased to make it available for Scout Groups to come and stay.
Scout Groups who book the evening have access from 5pm to 8:30am the next morning. You book for 1 hour and will be charged the $150 for the overnight use of the hall.
We are conveniently located adjacent to the Albert Park Light Rail Station - providing convenient access to the hall via public transport from Southern Cross Sation.
The main space is a large carpeted hall with timber bench seats and folding plastic tables.
There is a fully kitchen equipped with an oven and fridge.
The hall is wheelchair accessible.
There is a leafy outdoor courtyard with a BBQ - simply BYO gas bottle or hire a gas bottle from the servo across the road.

Rules
This sleepover option is only available to Scout Groups.
You must vacate the hall by 9.30am the next morning or seperately book the hall at the community rate. We have other community users in the hall on Saturday and Sunday during the day. We make the hall available at this special rate to scouts for the overnight sleep over only.
So that this is a welcoming space for everyone we ask that you:
Leave the space clean and tidy as you found it. This includes:
empty bins and remove any rubbish to outside bins
locking up on departure, returning key to key safe
turning off lighting and heating
Be respectful of our neighbours.
Be mindful that this is an active scout hall - from time to time we may need access to check or retrive equipment for our scouting activities.
Let us know if there are any maintence items that need attention.

2h weekday parking until 6pm. Free overnight and weeknight street parking.
Adjacent to Albert Park Light Rail Station. Just a 10 minute tram ride to St Kilda Beach or 15 minutes to Southern Cross Station. Catch the 96 Tram to go directly to the Melbourne Museum via the City.
